Thanks for stopping by. We know job hunting can be a little time consuming and you're probably keen to find out what's on offer, so we'll get straight to the point.
Where and how you can work
Our flagship office is in Sydney, Australia, but we've made our way from down under, to a campus in Austin, Texas which is now home to our US operations. This is a hybrid role, 2 days a week in our Austin office.
What you'd be doing in this role
As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.
The Global Head of GTM (Go-To-Market) Enablement will lead a cross-functional enablement team responsible for equipping Canva's global sales and success teams with the knowledge, tools, content, and processes they need to effectively sell and support Canva's solutions. This leader will drive the strategy to align enablement efforts with business outcomes, ensuring that sales teams globally are equipped to deliver value at every stage of the customer journey-from awareness through retention and expansion. The Head of GTM Enablement will also focus on building scalable enablement programs that support global consistency while allowing for regional adaptation.

  • Strategy & Leadership:
    • In conjunction with your leads (Enablement Training & Enablement Strategy), lead the global enablement team in alignment with the Sales & Success goals, collaborating with the Chief Commercial Officer, Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing.
    • Build a clear enablement roadmap to support global sales & success teams in reaching revenue, deal velocity, and sales efficiency targets.
    • Lead the creation and implementation of key GTM playbooks, training programs, competitive intelligence, and role-based competencies for sellers.
    • Act as a trusted partner to leadership by delivering insights on enablement effectiveness through data-driven reports and feedback loops.
  • Enablement Program Management:
    • Oversee the design and execution of onboarding, continuous learning, and certification programs tailored to various segments (Strategic, Enterprise, EDU, etc.).
    • Develop role-specific learning paths, including technical product training and advanced sales skills like discovery, demoing, and objection handling.
    • Lead the creation of a global content library to provide customer-facing teams with the tools and resources they need at every stage of the buyer's journey.
    • Drive the integration of technology tools (e.g., Gong, Salesforce, Pocus) to capture insights and improve enablement outcomes.
    • Ensure the scalability of enablement initiatives, supporting regional teams with localised content while maintaining global consistency.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Partner with PMM, Product, and Sales Operations teams to ensure enablement resources and content align with product updates and GTM strategies.
    • Collaborate with Sales Strategy teams to build data-driven approaches that inform future GTM plays and enablement initiatives.
  • Performance Measurement:
    • Define and track KPIs such as certification rates, sales readiness, content usage, rep performance improvements, and pipeline velocity to ensure enablement programs contribute to revenue growth.
    • Lead quarterly business reviews (QBR) to ensure alignment of enablement efforts with overall business goals.
    • Continuously optimize enablement programs based on feedback, competitive insights, and the latest industry trends to maintain a world-class enablement function.

You're probably a match if:

  • 10+ years of experience in Sales Enablement, GTM Strategy, or Sales Leadership roles in high growth SaaS businesses.
  • Proven experience in building and scaling enablement functions in a global, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of sales methodologies and frameworks (e.g., Bowtie, SPICED) and the ability to implement them effectively across large teams.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with experience in leading cross-functional global teams.
  • Data-driven approach to decision-making and the ability to translate insights into actionable enablement strategies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and drive alignment across diverse teams.
