As the Associate HRBP, you will be a key contributor to our People Team, providing general support and direction for associates and managers as it relates to a variety of HR activities. Working under the direct supervision of the Director, HRBP you will assist in coordinating and administering various aspects of the organization's employee relations, compensation, training and development programs.


What you'll do:

  • You will work in conjunction with the Director, HRBP in supporting various departments 
  • You will be a business partner for the Customer Experience team.
  • You will partner with the Director, HRBP and Leadership team, run cyclical processes including engagement surveys, performance management and merit cycle processes for assigned business groups
  • Assist with HR processes such as: performance management, merit planning, talent planning, employee engagement surveys, and learning and development initiatives
  • Assist in facilitation and management of annual reviews and quarterly check-ins
  • Conduct exit interviews for voluntary resignations
  • Conduct or assist investigations regarding employee relation issues
  • Respond to employee questions regarding practices, policies, and programs
  • Assist in developing programs to positively impact employee development
  • Implement actions plans as requested by the Director, HRBP on HR related projects
  • Assist other groups in the People function when needed - be flexible and willing to jump in

 

What you've done:

  • 3 +years of experience as a Human Resources Generalist or Business Partner
  • Sound understanding of TX employment laws
  • Ability to establish relationships with employees, the People Team, cross-functional internal partner
  • Ability to work independently and be focused in a startup environment
  • Possess a sound sense of ownership and accountability
  • Able to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience
  • Experience with the Evernote product is a plus
