What is Spreetail

Spreetail is an ecommerce company that currently operates VMInnovations, a multi-marketplace retailer that sells thousands of awesome products through major marketplaces like Amazon, eBay, and Walmart. Spreetail is currently in the middle of building something big, new, and exciting due to launch in 2019 with a simple mission: to make customers’ lives better through exceptionally fast service, great products, and community impact.

Originally from Lincoln, Nebraska, Spreetail has recently expanded into two new offices based in Omaha, NE and Austin, TX with rapidly growing teams. We currently have hundreds of employees across the company, and are searching for crazy smart, talented, visionary people.

As a Career Development Specialist, you will:

• Work with individual team members to help them identify the next step in their career
• Coach managers and team leads on best practices to help them support the career development of their teams
• Perform regular skill gap analysis to identify critical skills and competencies to cultivate across the organization
• Develop focused programs that give team members the tools and competencies they need to grow in their career
• Establish a scalable cross-department experience program that gives team members first-hand experience and exposure to other business units
• Develop and implement a strategy to fill open positions with intern candidates
• Create easy to use resources for team members and manager to make career development easy to pursue

You must have experience with the following:

• Implementing processes, systems and metrics to manage and track a high volume of output
• Making quick, positive connections with many people
• Giving authentic feedback to teams, peers and managers
• Coaching and leading
