Vista Equity Partners is looking for a high energy individual who will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering the firm's Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) strategy and initiatives from idea through execution. The Director, D&I reports directly to the SVP, Administration & Human Resources and will work closely with the Office of the CEO. This role will also organize and manage all the firm's philanthropic initiatives and corporate engagement to ensure brand alignment and employee participation.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise and build on innovative ideas that will progress Vista's D&I platform
  • Develop, implement and effectively communicate the D&I strategy, including both long-term and short-term goals, with measurable outcomes that are consistently tracked
  • Collaborate with Marketing to establish meaningful external partnerships and implement a strategic branding plan to strengthen program awareness and employment value proposition
  • Partner across the firm to address training, recruiting, on-boarding, and strategic outreach programs related to D&I
  • Monitor and report on diversity data to determine appropriate areas of focus. Work with leaders to ensure team experiences support the D&I strategy and that D&I is integrated with the firm leadership approach
  • Remain up to date on all laws, executive orders, regulations, policies, and concepts pertaining to Equal Employment Opportunity programs and provide leadership and guidance at all levels
  • Work closely with the Office of the CEO on all philanthropy and corporate engagement programs and initiatives, creating a match program and other giving/ volunteer opportunities for employees
  • Work with the SVP, Administration and HR to manage the annual D&I and philanthropy budget
  • Manage the activities of a Project Manager and additional staff as needed


Skills & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 7 years' progressive experience in a dynamic, fast-paced professional services environment, running top notch D&I initiatives
  • Strong knowledge and working experience with D&I programs change management, strategy development, leadership programs and philanthropy
  • Experience growing grassroots D&I initiatives
  • Strong preference given to candidates who have a solid professional network in the D&I space within the financial services industry
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
  • Must possess personal tact, discretion and good judgment. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Occasional after hours work and travel are necessary
