Spredfast-Lithium is looking for a Human Resources Director to manage our HR Operations and Recruiting teams. This key leadership role has the overall responsibility of leading two teams in our mission to provide the best in class HR programs to the company. This leader oversees the company's recruiting, benefits as well as the HR Operations programs. This leader will balance the needs of a strategic viewpoint of these programs as well as providing tactical guidance within the different HR functions they manage. In this role, the leader will partner with and work closely with leaders throughout the organization including our finance, payroll, and other HR functional teams.

 

What you'll be doing:

As the leader of the recruitment and HR operations functions, you will be a working leader who helps provide strategic and tactical guidance in the following areas:

Recruitment:

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive recruiting strategies that will guarantee the company attracts and hires top talent, utilizing traditional and modern/innovative sources to create a pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Create and maintain an environment of equal employment opportunity, diversity, and competitive advantage in support of the company's diversity and inclusion strategic plan.
  • Participate in organizational strategic planning and provide leadership with regard to recruiting policy development in alignment with the firm's strategic plan.

  • Oversees the team who leads the research, analysis, revision, design and implementation of employee benefit programs and recommends changes and/or new benefit programs.
  • Working with the broker, conduct appropriate analysis and manage annual renewal of contracts.

HR Operations:

  • Responsible for planning and execution of key HR programs, including timelines and communication plans, to ensure flawless delivery to employees.
  • Manage our Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). Develop, implement, and modify software and hardware requirements based on changing business requirements.
  • Manage and drive improvements in HR programs and processes, as well as implement success metrics for analysis of program effectiveness.
  • Power leaders with HR data and analysis, act as our people-data expert.
  • Ensure we are compliant: Maintain company compliance in areas including but not limited to GDPR, affirmative action, anti-harassment, and functional audits.

What you need to be successful:

  • Minimum of 3 years leading a medium sized HR team (4+ employees) in a midsize company
  • Minimum 5 -8 years of relevant experience in human resources in recruitment, benefits and HR operations
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills (fast on your feet)
  • Ability to maintain composure in a high paced, professional environment
  • Strong day-to-day operations experience and ability to follow process
  • Ability to prioritize your time and manage multiple projects concurrently without compromising quality
  • Pro-active nature and the ability to follow through until assignment completion
  • Excellent attention to detail
