And if you’re still reading, we’re guessing it might be yours too. We are looking to add to our alchemic mix of more than 2,000 talented professionals. At Real Chemistry, we don’t just wish the world was healthier. We leverage tech, data and creativity to make it so. You in?

Job Summary

As a Director, Talent Acquisition at Real Chemistry you will be responsible for partnering closely with business teams and hiring managers to build the future of their teams by sourcing, interviewing, guiding, and negotiating stellar senior- and mid-level talent. As an integral part of the Talent team, this means that you’re as good at sourcing as you are at interviewing; you’re as good at interviewing as you are at learning about a team’s talent goals; and you’re as good at knowing your internal teams’ key talent objectives as you are at knowing what candidates’ growth and team objectives are!

Who’ll Love This Job

  • A people nerd and Talent Champion – you geek out on humans. Partnering with them, finding them, getting to know their needs, and innately believe that a candidate is interviewing us as much as Real Chemistry is interviewing them. You know your job is WAY more than just “putting a butt in a seat”.

  • A partner – you want to know your teams’ businesses and will commit to be sure you understand the keys that make adding additional members successful and want to build better practices and processes that will yield success for everyone involved.

  • A doer –you just do the damn thing. If there’s someone on the team who needs help, or if there’s a piece of coordination that needs to be handled, you’re down to hop in and help. We’re all in this together.

  • A talent strategist – you easily identify gaps in process, see opportunities for better practices, partnerships, and fringe TA projects like employer branding, hiring methodologies, candidate experience, etc.

  • A curious critter – you’re innately curious about pretty much everything. Down to learn as much as you can from every intake meeting, lunch and learn, candidate phone screen, and team huddle. You focus and commit to research information on teams and candidate success and are as equally excited to learn as you are to share your knowledge with others.

What You’ll Do

  • Define the future culture of Real Chemistry by hiring the best talent for the teams you’re working with.

  • Share your experiences (The good. The bad. The mediocre.) with the greater TA team to help tackle other folks’ problems, as well as garner problems to your own.

  • Full cycle recruit – you don’t have to be an expert in every aspect of Talent Acquisition, but you know where you’re most and least successful, and are keen to lean in to help team members who could use your mentorship, as much as you are eager to learn how to better yourself from others.

  • Collaborate with leadership – providing them with proactive solutions to alleviate pain points and get ahead of the hiring curve.

What You Should Have

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The devil is in the details – personality and tailored responses for both internal and external partners is required.

  • Solid understanding of omni-channel marketing practice and industry trends.

  • A desire to amplify the way Talent Acquisition communicates and connects with both internal and external partners.

  • An area of Talent Acquisition that you want to learn more about and an area of Talent Acquisition that you feel like you can lend and dedicate some time to outside of just filling roles.

  • Direct management or significant mentoring experience with a TA delivery, sourcing, or strategy team.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, start-up, agency or constantly and ever changing environment is key to success here. Pivot, pivot, pivot, comes to mind, and you’re happy iterating all the way to success!
