The Employee Relations Partner supports the organization's employee relations programs and supports the GoDaddy culture, policies and procedures by maintaining a positive, value added, consultative relationship with business leaders and other employees. The ideal candidate gets to make a difference. In employee relations we impact the employee experience and support the GoDaddy culture every day.
This individual is responsible for coaching and advising leaders and employees on all performance management issues including absenteeism, performance, conduct and harassment, and ensuring compliance with policies, practices and applicable employment legislation. They will be a trusted advisor by providing consultation and resolution guidance to promote a positive work-place culture.
The Employee Relations Specialist must manage a broad range of tasks including the interpretation and development of policies and procedures, facilitating training on key Employee Relations issues, and contributing to the development and implementation of Employee Relations programs based on line of business goals and HR strategy. In some instances, this individual will conduct complaint investigations and facilitate resolutions, while identifying process improvement opportunities and policy gaps through trend analysis. This position is also responsible for providing consultation and guidance to leaders and during large scale reorganizations and Reductions in Force.

Responsibilities:

  • Participates in policy writing and interpretation. May assist in developing organizational policy and procedural efficiencies within team.
  • Assist in litigation management, including working directly with litigation counsel, responding to discovery request and other activities as needed
  • Work directly with corporate and area leadership to facilitate processes that ensure an ethical, fair and consistent management approach.
  • Investigates formal and informal employee inquires and complaints; facilitates resolutions.
  • Investigates employee misconduct and performance issues.
  • Ensure Legal compliance and adherence to policies and regulations.
  • Investigates employee misconduct and performance issues.
  • Implement programs to build a positive culture which creates a proactive employee relations climate.
  • Investigates formal and informal employee inquires and complaints; facilitates resolutions
  • Investigates employee misconduct and performance issues
  • Facilitate training on key Employee Relations issues.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in HR Management, Business or related field required
  • PHR, SPHR preferred
  • 4- 6 years of Employee Relations and/or HR Generalist experience
  • Call center experience or similar preferred
  • Solid written and verbal skills
  • Aptitude for employee related problem solving
  • Strong organizational and work prioritization skill
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Possess and maintain a sense of urgency
  • Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • Capable of consistently and independently implementing HR practices and policies with minimal supervision
  • Broad-based understanding of business operations and practices
  • Ability to build credibility and inspire confidence at all levels of the organization
  • Solid knowledge of HR and Labor laws
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to navigate HR information management systems in order to perform analysis and generate reports
