The Global Payroll Manager
As the Global Payroll Manager, you will work with our small (but mighty) accounting team to support ACG's rapid growth. Following the recent acquisition of Linux Academy, our finance and accounting team is working to integrate systems and streamline processes. The Payroll Manager will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of accounting for payroll, benefits and related activities across our three global offices.
In this role you’ll get to:
- Manage US, UK and Australia payroll processing
- Play key role in the initial legal entity setup and payroll accounting processes as we expand to new countries and states
- Work with service providers and insurance carriers to ensure accuracy and scalability as the company continues to grow
- Assist in the process of unifying A Cloud Guru and Linux Academy's payroll processes and systems
- Work on special projects with cross-functional business partners
- Work with a hilarious Finance & Accounting team
We are looking for someone who can:
- Maintain accurate and detailed subledgers for payroll related balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Work with service providers and insurance carriers to ensure accuracy and scalability as the company continues to grow
- Manage processing of payroll tax filings and ensure overall compliance with US federal and state reporting requirements
- Manage process of 401(k) elections, employee communication, annual 401(k) audit, and related tax filings
- Manage process of FSA/HSA contributions and employee level account reconciliations
- Manage and update worker's compensation policies and lead on-going worker's compensation audits
- Manage the process of preparing annual employee/non-employee payroll statements (W-2, 1099 and IRS forms)
- Work proactively to identify problems or inefficiencies, and present possible solutions
- Assist with payroll account reconciliations as needed
If you have the following experience, we'd love to hear from you!
- 3 - 5+ years' of payroll / accounting experience
- Experience with Bamboo, ADP, Netsuite or similar platforms
- Experience managing payroll for multiple countries
- Proven experience working efficiently across departments
- Previous experience in collaborative, high-growth environments is highly advantageous
- Experience working with SaaS or subscription-based customers (preferred)
- Experience with accounting software migration and integration (a plus)

Our team is spread across the globe, primarily in the US, Australia and the UK. This role will be based in our offices in Austin, Texas. While we do have remote workers, this role requires you to be in our Austin, TX office.
