The MongoDB community is transforming industries and empowering developers to build amazing apps that people use every day. We are the leading modern data platform and the first database provider to IPO in over 20 years. Join our team and be at the forefront of innovation and creativity.

Research has shown that employees who experience high levels of engagement function at higher levels which leads to gains in greater organizational success through higher discretionary effort and increased creativity, innovation & problem-solving. MongoDB believes that engagement is a state of emotional wellbeing that derives from, among other things:

  • A shared sense of purpose with the organization - a sort of connection to the overall proposition of why we are here and what impact we can have
  • A sense of autonomy & inclusion - are employees empowered to bring their perspectives, solutions & selves to work, and do they feel valued and respected for who they are
  • The opportunity to master the skills employees want to develop as professionals and have a true inflection point in their careers

  • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure engagement strategies are embedded in recruitment strategy for a seamless candidate and employee experience
  • Partner with Internal Communications to drive an effective storytelling strategy that celebrates and showcases MongoDB values, articulates the “why” behind everything we do in support of employees and helps to improve the flow of communication and resources to our managers as they play an increasingly important role as custodians of engagement and development for their teams
  • Oversee our Inclusion agenda as well as Affinity Group Program Management as a key driver of employee engagement

  • Exceptional active listening skills - the ability to hear and represent multiple, sometimes polarizing points of view, with equal intent
  • Energy & empathy needed to be able to engage with employees across levels, roles  & geographies
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - this role is all about storytelling
