Position Summary

This is a unique opportunity for someone who is creative and strategic to establish a best in class clinical training organization. We strive to provide best in class training to our clinicians. At Wheel, the Head of Training will utilize an innovative, cutting-edge approach to learning and development. The Head of Training would be responsible for designing, building and driving Wheel’s clinical learning and development content platform. Training enables clinicians to provide best in class care. The ideal candidate will have a background in building, designing and implementing a modern learning ecosystem with innovative learning methodologies. It is imperative that the Head of Training builds a modern learning platform that simplifies complex clinical telemedicine protocols, processes and best practices, enabling clinicians to provide best in class care.

Responsibilities

Clinical Training Content: Design and build Wheel’s clinical training content strategy by incorporating design thinking, industry-leading clinical guidelines, Webside Manner™, and telemedicine best practices.

Clinician Development:  Work collaboratively across Operations, Clinical, and Leadership Teams to bring together Wheel’s business strategy, real-time data and Clinician feedback in order enable the clinical workforce to meet the changing needs of virtual care. 

Educational Content Development: Collaborate with medical and marketing teams on development of webinar content and CME/CEs to extend to our Wheel Care Team. 

Qualifications

- 10+ years of progressive, innovative learning & development/training experience

- 5+ years of leading and/or managing training projects from inception to completion

- Experience with human-centered design preferred

- Bachelor’s degree required, advanced education in organizational learning, training & development, and/or performance improvement preferred

- Proven ability to manage multiple competing projects while adhering to deadlines

- Experience managing a diverse workforce; from clinicians to operations managers

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate across the organization
