The Opportunity:

Do you crave the chance to create meaningful impact for a rapidly growing travel technology company? HomeAway has two great HRBP opportunities, one to reporting to and partner with the HRBP Director for the Global Technology and Product organizations and the second to lead HRBP initiatives for our Finance organization partnering directly with the CFO. You will be a key part of the Global HRBP team developing and delivering best practices, driving a great experience for our employees, and supporting the business in the achievement of its objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Partners with HRBP leader to define, track, and deliver on talent objectives and key results for the business and broader HR organization
  • Leads/participates with HRBP leadership and senior leadership to diagnose opportunities and provide talent solutions aligned with business strategies
  • Develops and applies various HR knowledge to processes and procedures to support the business and HR core work
  • Utilizes a scientific approach to talent solutions through strong analytical capability; identify trends/patterns through data & insights enabling HR to make cases for change/solutions, testing and measuring success of solutions
  • Provides project management frameworks to talent solution implementations
  • Demonstrates ability to collate information across multiple organizations and constructs to bring macro and micro level with end-to-end solutions and outcomes
  • Develops and implements solutions that are applicable/scalable across business function(s)
  • Key partnerships with HR COEs within HomeAway and Expedia, including HR shared services Compensation, Recruitment etc. to ensure seamless delivery and operational excellence
  • Uses natural curiosity and passions to bring diverse perspectives challenging status quos
  • Is an active contributor within HR and the overall organization

Qualifications

  • University degree in HR, Organization Development, Business, Communications, or other relevant degree
  • Experience working for a global, matrixed organization
  • Experience working in high tech
  • Career trajectory demonstrating increasing scope and complexity in HR roles/responsibility
  • Excellent excel and power point skills
  • Current/More recent titles: HRBP, HR Sr Specialist, HR Specialist, Talent Management, Performance Management
