About the Role

Orchard is looking for an HR Business Partner to manage Orchard’s people processes and programs. You will work closely with our Lead HR Business Partners to support our fast growing Sales and Operations teams. The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the business and a passion for helping shape and deliver a best-in-class employee experience. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in HR, ideally as an HR Generalist or HRBP. As the primary HR partner for some of Orchard’s most business-critical teams, this is a great opportunity to make an impact on Orchard’s employees, customers, and overall business.

This is a full time role that will report into our Lead HR Business Partner and be based out of our Austin office.

What You’ll Do Here

  • Support and enable programs and initiatives to deliver on Orchard’s People strategy and goals, from employee engagement and culture to learning and development
  • Build strong relationships with individuals, beginning with orientation facilitation and 30 day check-ins 
  • Serve as primary point of contact for at least one business function, partnering with Lead HRBPs as needed
  • Provide tactical support for employee-facing events and programs including new-hire onboarding, social programming, and Employee Experience programming to create an inclusive and engaging employee experience
  • Partner with other HRBPs on key People Operations processes including performance management, compensation, internal mobility, and employee onboarding and termination
  • Respond to ad hoc employee questions and requests on HR related topics

We’d Love to Hear From You if You Have:

  • At least 2+ years of experience working in HR, ideally within a growth-stage Technology startup. Experience working with real estate operations and/or sales teams is a plus!
  • Experience in core HR disciplines such as employee relations, talent management, compensation and benefits administration, and learning and development
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to facilitate large and small group discussions
  • High degree of empathy and openness, with the ability to understand other experiences and perspectives to inform recommendations and business decisions
  • Strong teamwork & stakeholder management skills, including discretion around confidential and sensitive information
