The HR Manager at CertifID will play a key role in supporting our people strategy to maintain a competitive, compliant, engaged, and valued workforce. We are excited to position you to work collaboratively in developing, optimizing and implementing people processes and programs while overseeing the day-to-day responsibilities associated with people operations.

What you will be exposed to:

Maintain human resource information system records and compile reports as needed/requested
Lead and optimize employee onboarding and help organize training and development eg. industry training, and product training.
Ensures employees follow all policies and procedures and proactive in changes or creation policies and procedures based on company needs
Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local legislation as well as the firm’s procedures and policies
Manage a HR team that aids success in the areas of recruitment, diversity and inclusion, culture and business partnership
Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics and resolve any issues that may arise
Enhance eNPS score by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and support in organization team building activities for a hybrid/remote workforce. Inclusive of performance reviews/lattice

What you need:

Deep expertise and a propensity for innovation to help build an ER function
Proven ability to influence and advise on a wide range of HR compliance and contingent workforce issues
Bachelor’s Degree in HR, or equivalent experience and SHRM is preferred
Previous experience in a software environment preferred
Previous people manager experience
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, adjust readily to multiple demands, shifting priorities, and rapid change with composure

Stopping fraud before it starts

Max Kirchoff’s team is creating new ways to use technology to stop fraudsters in their tracks, and his drive to iterate and build better solutions using CertifID’s fraud detection and device profiling tools is part of a larger mission. “We believe that some of the most interesting and insightful solutions to fraud have yet to be built — we want to build them,” he said. Preventing fraud can easily add to customers’ workload, though, which is what Kirchoff wants to prevent. “Our challenge is to detect and prevent fraud without the customer having to think about or notice it.”

“We are looking for ways to push the envelope and go the extra mile,” Natalia Cerutti said. For Cerutti, that means approaching her work with design thinking, which she defines as “problem-solving through creativity.” According to Cerutti, teams across CertifID are using design thinking as both a mindset and process. “Design thinking helps us cultivate an understanding of what we are trying to solve,” she said. “From leading and managing to experimenting with new workflows, it's essential to understand the actual problem and who is experiencing it before seeking solutions.”

Protecting mortgage payments

When customers asked for a tool to protect mortgage payoffs, CertifID listened. “We are now protecting over $1 billion per month,” Will Finn said. “Since its inception, PayoffProtect has stopped more than $3 million in payoff fraud.” Built on CertifID’s internal tooling, PayoffProtect automatically validates payoff wiring instructions for 80 percent of transactions while using data to streamline the validation process for the remaining payoffs. “This is a timesaver compared to the traditional manual methods of confirming these instructions,” said Finn. “And data makes it all possible.”
