HR Technology Analyst
We are looking for an HRIS Analyst to join our team in one of today's most exciting technologies. This role will report to Director, HR Technology.
The HRIS Analyst will play a key role in the expansion of the Workday HCM platform at SailPoint Technologies. In this role, you will provide configuration and operational support for Workday-related projects, help drive business process improvement efforts, and will facilitate the creation of technical standards. The priority of the role will be the further development of the single source of record for HR data - Workday HCM, maintaining and proactively ensuring consistent, high quality data, and its use to enhance system processes and procedural workflows.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Configure, manage and maintain SailPoint's Workday system with a focus on Employee and Manager Self Service
- Create training and self-service materials for employees and the People and Places team.
- Write basic Workday reports and analyze data for discovering patterns or usage or history and trends
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 systems support including troubleshooting data and systems issues, recommending solutions, and implementing enhancements and fixes in systems per change control guidelines
- Research and test new functionality and features within Workday including system releases, enhancements and fixes, including developing and executing user acceptance testing (UAT) scripts
- Create detailed documentation of business processes and systems functionality, including workflow, program functions and steps required to execute systems transactions/processes and support change management
- Detail functional specifications and coordinate with cross-functional resources.
- Load data upload templates (EIBs) for employee personal and job data updates
- Maintain data security and integrity in Workday by regularly analyzing and auditing data
- Partner with Benefits, Talent and/or Payroll to define and develop requirements, re-engineer current processes, and implement new functionality in Workday
Technical Skill Requirements:
- Preferred Workday support experience for 2-5 years in the areas of Benefits, Payroll or Talent Management.
- Understanding of HR business processes - Joiners, Movers, Leavers, etc.
- Proven ability to manage tasks with competing priorities and deadlines, independently determining order of priority and self-initiating other value-added tasks
- Willingness to assist other functions and work groups as needed so the department achieves or exceeds its overall business objectives
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Management Information Systems or similar experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of Workday support experience
- Understanding basic technical architecture (data - application - UI)
- Understanding of project methodologies including Waterfall and Agile
- Technical troubleshooting capabilities, excellent analytical skills and a creative problem solver
- Business and business processes knowledge
