Job Summary

We have an exciting new opportunity on our People Team at Real Chemistry and are looking for a Junior People Business Partner (HR Manager). In this collaborative and fast-paced role, you will partner with assigned business groups as well as HR colleagues across the People Business Partner, Benefits, Payroll, and HR Operations teams on employment engagement and HR initiatives as well as performance management review cycles. Responsibilities

  • Be a trusted HR partner to assigned parts of the business

  • Work with the senior HR colleagues across various People Team initiatives

  • Manage HR and Employee Relations issues with people managers throughout the organization at the junior to mid-level

  • Assist with employee inquiries that range across topics such as HR policies, benefits, onboarding, employment verifications, relocations, etc.

  • Assist with annual Performance and Compensation Review cycles

  • Conduct exit interviews, ensuring a smooth offboarding for employees and analyze quarterly exit trends related to attrition

  • Partner with HR Operations and Benefits & Wellness teams on various projects as needed

  • Work closely with Payroll Team throughout the employee lifecycle to ensure employee data is clean and up to date (i.e., locality tax, personal information entry upon hire, etc.)

  • Help coordinate cultural and social events to improve overall employee engagement and company morale

  • Oversee hiring of new employees into Workday to ensure smooth onboarding

  • Enter and pull reports for various HR and benefits systems; conduct quarterly audits to ensure all systems are clean and up to date (Workday, BOX, I9 Repository etc.)

  • Organize and maintain confidential HR files to ensure Real Chemistry is meeting all legal requirements

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3–5 years of professional experience as part of a HR/People Team required

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office systems necessary

  • Experience using an HRIS system necessary; Workday experience highly preferred

  • Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized with ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment managing multiple projects at a time

  • Proven ability to work both independently and as a team member

  • Ability to evaluate and shift priorities as needed, anticipating potential issues at an early stage

  • Maintain security of confidential information/conversations that impact employees and the business

  • Strong written, oral communication, and presentation skills

  • Exhibit a positive, pro-active “can-do” attitude, willing to pitch in whenever needed
