We’re looking for a Learning & Development Partner (Talent Development Partner) who is passionate, analytical, and excited to be part of our new centralized Learning & Development team at Khoros. This individual will partner with various stakeholders, and the broader organization to design, develop, and deliver effective learning and development programs, while ensuring that programs motivate and inspire organizational learning and support the development of our employees.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Oversee Corporate and Acquisition orientation and onboarding programs as appropriate for Khoros
  • Manage New Hire Orientation and onboarding training assignments, track completion, measure program success, and create and implement new onboarding courses and materials
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify high priority learning and development target areas for employee groups, creates training plans, and identifies opportunities to utilize outside resources, as appropriate
  • Partners with Human Resources and organizational leaders to evaluate talent needs and growth areas
  • Refines and delivers results-driven learning and development programs using a wide variety of training methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools, and practices adhering to adult learning theory to ensure maximum effectiveness of programs
  • Builds learning and development programs for assigned subject areas, in collaboration with subject matter experts
  • Design and develop programs and curriculum, partner with internal subject matter experts and/or external vendors to achieve defined training, learning and development objectives
  • Builds, tests, and delivers high-quality interactive training to support our commitment to talent development and increasing retention and transfer of both technical and non-technical subject matter
  • Serving as project manager including daily logistics of executing programs including classroom/lab set up and breakdown, coordination of training facilities and materials, communication with trainees, and post-workshop collection of evaluation/feedback
  • Manages projects from inception to delivery, ensuring buy-in from peers, leaders, and key stakeholders
  • Working closely with appropriate organizational leaders and the Talent Development team to analyze the performance of learner audiences so that additional learning interventions can be developed and prescribed

 

Skills

  • Knowledge of principles and methods for adult learning theory, and measurement / assessment of training methods and content
  • Demonstrates the ability to multi-task and balance multiple ongoing projects with specified timelines while simultaneously meeting aggressive deadlines
  • Working knowledge of HRIS and Learning Management Systems, preferably Workday
  • Experience in collaborating with global teams and clients to manage expectations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, superior organizational skills
  • Must be proactive, a self-starter with ability to think independently and work autonomously when necessary and a desire to succeed among fellow professionals
  • Must be willing to seek continuous improvement in relation to established work processes and procedures

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field from an accredited college or university; or equivalent professional experience
  • 3-5 years of learning and development experience including developing, implementing, and delivering training
  • Experience utilizing diverse learning management tools, learning management systems, and training applications
  • Strong Consultative Approach
