Manager of Recruiting Operations

Through categorical expertise, we are responsible for implementing technical solutions to match the unique needs of our customers: these range from traditional sourcing needs to workforce management to on-demand services.
RigUp is hiring a Manager of Recruiting Operations in our Austin office, Finding jobs for the men and women who power oil & gas is what motivates us. We’re looking for someone that can build and manage a team of recruiters to execute on a best-in-class sourcing operation. As the team manager, you have proven experience in setting lofty objectives and delivering results, navigating through a high growth and rapidly changing environment.
What you'll be doing
- Ensure fulfillment against industry demand for labor
- Train and develop 5+ team members on the recruiting team
- Set and execute against team revenue targets
- Liaise with RigUp’s product team to create tools for seamless sourcing execution
- Advise RigUp’s strategy in building the best network of qualified labor
- Leverage and continuously build your personal network to RigUp’s labor pool
- Wear multiple hats as-needed to make the operation run smoothly and fill gaps accordingly
- Partner with our diverse base of oilfield workers to place the right worker to the best possible job
- Execute team strategy in accordance with categorical trends
What you should have
- Proven expertise in growing and managing a high performing team
- 3-5+ years of experience managing traditional oil & gas recruiting/consulting operations, staffing firm operations, sales teams, junior teams within a high growth startup, or similar role
- You maintain an objective viewpoint and obsess over data to drive strategic and managerial decision making
- You are an entrepreneur at heart, and are willing to wear whatever hat the business requires
- You have experience owning and delivering results on a large book of business
- You can coach and develop junior level talent to acquire your skillset over time
- You can prioritize a multitude of tasks across different strategic dimensions
- You are process oriented, undbudging in operational principles and drive alignment across your team and the organization
- You are results driven, seeking to fulfill on customer requests 100% of the time
- You thrive in relationship-based roles, and you approach your internal, cross-functional activities with the same rigor as you serve your customers
- You are a team player, and will prioritize business objectives over personal goals
