Summary
The People & Culture Business Partner will partner with Aristocrat's Global Gaming business specifically the Design & Development (D&D) team to deliver and sustain a high-performance culture within the business. Residing in the Las Vegas, Nevada and working with all levels of team members in the U.S. and in Australia - this role will assist in all human resources functional areas including culture, talent management/reviews, learning and development, performance management, and employee advancement. Reporting directly to the Vice President, People & Culture for D&D, this role will deliver outstanding service in support of Aristocrat's focus on both employees and innovation.
What You'll Do

  • Develop, implement, measure, and lead key initiatives and projects in areas such as change management, total rewards, analytics, organizational development, culture initiatives, DE&I, performance and talent management, leadership development, and compliance.
  • Provide coaching to leaders to improve leadership capabilities
  • Liaise with team members to understand challenges, perspectives, and engagement
  • Use data, analytic aptitude, and P&C acumen to assess results, influence action, and make recommendations
  • Assists to recruit and retain high quality talent within the business; helps leaders implement strategies to increase employee retention.
  • Works with the Talent CoE team to identify high potentials within the organization and assist with their development planning.
  • Develop high trust, productive relationships with leaders
  • Use data to evaluate effectiveness of current programming and development of new programs
  • Ensures the business has a clear learning and development focus for the fiscal year, and, in conjunction with the Talent CoE, helps develop materials and resources to address capability gaps.
  • Acts as a trusted advisor working with leaders on their succession plans at multiple levels within the business; anticipates workforce issues and is proactive in developing plans to ensure effective workforce continuity.
  • Support the Remuneration and Benefits team with the implementation of the annual remuneration review process; help ensure global mobility is conducted in a fair and standardized manner.
  • Help leaders identify opportunities for changes within their groups. Support them through the change by providing sound business recommendations considering talent and business requirements.
  • Lead the action planning process and implementation of successful strategies to address any issues identified by Aristocrat's global employee survey.
  • Be willing to adjust work hours to accommodate global time zones and meetings when needed to support global business leaders.


What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in human resources generalist, org. development/talent, or similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Strong knowledge of generalist human resources best practices and/or expert knowledge in one or more human resources functional areas.
  • Knowledge of talent ecosystems including performance management, succession planning, and talent development.
  • Supporting Gaming and/or Technology teams a plus.
  • Thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced, ever-changing environment where problem solving leads to trusted, respective decisions and outcomes.
  • Ability to develop and implement HR programs and procedures.
  • Ability to listen, negotiate, coach, and influence all levels of management without having formal authority.
  • Business acumen to deliver thought leadership to the local and global business.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including an ability to manage multiple projects to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to create strong relationships and develop influencing skills across multiple different leadership styles.
