Talent Acquisition Manager


The Talent Acquisition (TA) Manager is crucial to the growth and success of TrustRadius. You will be working alongside hiring managers and one Senior TA Manager to support our recruiting efforts. Having a TA team at TrustRadius is new, and this provides you with an opportunity to help shape and guide the talent acquisition vision, processes, and tools for our long-term success. This position reports to the Sr. Director of People.

What you’ll do:

  • Actively pursue all channels (Internet, networking, social media, etc.) to find the best candidates for each particular role, including sourcing passive candidates.
  • Lead, design, plan and execute employer branding activities
  • Create and report on hiring metrics including benchmark data for our industry
  • Motivate employees to be brand ambassadors and own our employee referral program
  • Build strong partnerships with hiring managers to determine recruitment needs and facilitate recruiting strategy.
  • Continuously and proactively provide status updates with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle including sourcing strategies, job postings, interview processes, offer negotiations, closing, and on-boarding for assigned requisitions.
  • Develop knowledge of current marketplace and trends to ensure competitive hiring tactics.
  • Participate in job fairs and college recruiting fairs to source potential candidates and promote industry awareness.
  • Generate a pipeline of highly qualified candidates for a variety of positions
  • Conduct behavior and motivation-based interviews, both over the phone and in-person, to assess candidate suitability.
  • Serve as an advisor to hiring managers throughout the hiring process on matters such as interviewing techniques, compliance, selection protocols, offer management, etc.
  • Maintain accurate records using the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and HRIS and produce reports on all phases of the recruitment process.

Skills you’ll need:

  • 5+ years recruiting in a full life-cycle environment; proven record of successfully recruiting and sourcing for tech roles. Tech recruiting experience in B2B industry will send your resume to the top of the pile!
  • Must be self-motivated, driven, and passionate about helping find talent to build great teams.
  • Extreme passion for creating a positive experience for both the candidate and hiring manager (internal customer).
  • Strong knowledge of interviewing techniques, including behavioral-based interviewing.
  • Experience sourcing passive candidates off of platforms like LinkedIn, Indeed, and other platforms.
  • Familiarity with and knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (Greenhouse, Taleo, Jobvite, Breezy, etc.)
  • Proven success in managing multiple tasks, projects, and searches simultaneously; ability to manage time and prioritization in tracking tasks and details effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability in building and maintaining strong relationships with individuals in all levels of the organization and community.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Proficient with Google Cloud Applications.
  • Must be energetic and have the ability to maintain a sense of humor when faced with changes and challenges.
  • May require work responsibilities outside of normal business hours

What does your typical day look like?

My day starts with prepping for customers on scheduled weekly calls where we review progress on their goals. I’m primarily reviewing clients top 3 priorities and lining up tactical resources like quotes, talking tracks, and any specific reports. It’s about driving them towards innovative best practices by leveraging Voice of Customer (VOC).

It's very important for every team member to know that they can always give me feedback, escalate an issue, and that I'll always listen. We do skip 1-1s, where I meet with team members who report to my management team, small team lunches where I meet with 3-4 people at a time across different departments, and hear what's going on in their areas.



What are some social events your company does?

We host biweekly brew and learns, lead by someone on the team who is passionate about the topic at hand. Topics have included Texas Hold’em, Whiskey 101, Vintage Guitars, Pickling and Baseball. It's a great way to learn more about your team and relax on a Friday afternoon.
