The People Compliance team provides innovative global HR compliance solutions while driving business value through risk mitigation, proactive program design, and strategic partnerships. As part of that team, the Recruiting Compliance & Support Lead will manage a team responsible for developing and driving partner insights and metrics, recommending Recruiting and People Operations systems and process improvements, and ensuring compliance with global record keeping and reporting requirements. This role will also be responsible for growing and developing a dynamic team and providing training and communication input to cross-functional partners while driving awareness and accountability. We are looking for a self-motivated team player to join our efforts to drive best practices while meeting critical SLAs and influencing key stakeholders. This role reports to the Director of People Compliance and will be based in Austin, TX. This role will manage a distributed team in both Menlo Park, CA, and Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

  • Continuous improvement and data insights:
    • Drive awareness of and compliance with global record keeping requirements and philosophies

    • Prepare and present insights and recommendations for process and SLA improvements

    • Develop and execute recruiting reporting and data retention knowledge sharing processes and procedures

    • Influence operational changes, drive collaboration and maximize adoption of new and existing processes and tools

    • Improve processes and drive requirements for additional improvements to reduce manual processes

  • Case management:
    • Assist with escalated issues, process exceptions and risk mitigation

    • Monitor case management system to ensure SLAs and desired business outcomes are met

    • Use problem solving principles and past experience to identify and define issues and develop solutions

  • Develop and guide Specialist team:
    • Manage the development and continuing education of Specialists in Menlo Park, CA, and Austin, TX

    • Act as a resource and subject matter expert for knowledge sharing best practices

    • Facilitate training of team members on new technology, process updates and compliance principles

    • Assist team with triage of support queue within case management system, as needed

  • Cross-Functional Partnerships:
    • Partner with Recruiting Operations and PMO teams to document, influence and support new tools and processes

    • Work with Director of People Compliance to drive strategic partnerships and results with People Operations and Recruiting stakeholders

    • Engage with cross-functional SMEs (e.g., Legal, Engineering) for SOP documentation, problem solving and issue escalation

  • Travel up to 15% of the time

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Recruiting, Recruiting Operations and/or HR/recruitment analytics

  • 3+ years of experience with reporting and analytics

  • 3+ years people management or supervisory experience

  • Experience with OFCCP recordkeeping and data retention requirements

  • Process Improvement experience (e.g., Lean/Six Sigma)

  • Analytical and problem solving experience

  • Experience with customer service or consulting (internal or external)

  • Experience using MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio or other process mapping software)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Data analytics and reporting experience

  • HR Operations and HRIS experience

  • Salesforce reporting knowledge/experience

  • Experience with knowledge management and/or project management

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Experience working with or in support of diverse communities
