Senior HR Business Partner

We have two great opportunities available for a Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) in our Austin, TX office who will work with internal client groups and will develop, implement, and measure the success of the company’s HR strategies and solutions, with a focus on driving success and meeting business goals and objectives. The HRBP serves as a consultant to management and provides professional HR guidance and support to assigned internal client teams. The HRBP will function as a trusted business partner and is expected to maintain a high level of business literacy about the client groups’ financial positions, strategic plans, culture and its people.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Act as an HR consultant, delivering insights and solutions to the client group leadership team to address business challenges. Contribute to the development of successful business strategies.
Partner with leaders to drive business growth and organizational effectiveness, execute on change management initiatives, and build organizational capability.
Collaborate with business leaders and TA, HR & Finance on workforce planning and talent movement.
Directly support leaders with all people initiatives, including compensation planning and talent and performance development.
Strengthen leadership and manager effectiveness, partnering with relevant teams (e.g. L&D, Talent Acquisition, Culture), to ensure managers are demonstrating our leadership competencies and modeling our values while developing and growing their employees.
Work closely with client group’s management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
Support the company’s culture and engagement goals through identification of issues, facilitation of planning solutions and reporting progress.
Ensure consistent interpretation and administration of company policies and procedures, practices and principles relating to employee relations and risk management; counsel and advise management and recommend approaches to prevent and resolve problems.
Maintain close contact and collaboration within the HRBP Team, across the broader People Team, and with other teams across the company.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum 8+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner with expertise in developing effective business partner relationships, influencing executive leadership, management and employee coaching, employee relations, workforce management, and training development and delivery.
Global experience and experience working with sales and/or technical/engineering teams is strongly preferred
Experience that demonstrates strong learning agility, organizational savvy, and a strategic and innovative mindset
Ability to quickly adapt interpersonal style and influence effectively at all levels in the organization with a high degree of tact and diplomacy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Experience with people data analytics and proven ability to influence with data; intermediate Excel skills are necessary
Ability to develop engaging PowerPoint presentations, facilitate small group discussions, and effectively present content to large groups of people; able to adapt messaging and delivery as the audience changes
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality, establish trust and credibility and act with complete integrity
Ability to identify and define issues, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions and develop recommendations and solutions that meet the needs of the employee as well as the company
Ability to understand employee opinions, monitor the effect of business decisions on people, and advise leaders and managers on addressing employee concerns
Ability to evaluate and determine priorities and execute tasks in a rapidly changing environment
Knowledge of immigration practices, processes and laws are helpful, but not required
