SamCart is looking for a Culture and People obsessed Senior HR Manager! We need someone who has scaled the HR Pillar at a high-growth Tech Startup before. Ideally you love team engagement, process, organization, and have a passion for making an incredible place to work. You will report directly to our Head of People, who is looking for her right-hand person!
Responsibilities:
- Champion SamCart's culture and create strategies and events to increase employee engagement
- Own the implementation of cultural company initiatives
- Provide expertise and be a sounding board for personnel questions and issues including performance management, terminations and off-boarding
- Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires across all teams
- Own the administrative side of human resources (tax registration, payroll relationship, Employee Benefit enrollment etc), including maintaining an in-depth knowledge of applicable employment laws.
- Own twice annual 360 Review process
- Create Policies and Procedures around employee benefits
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience as an HR business partner or generalist working in a fast-paced scaling company, software experience preferred
- A modern view of HR, and what it means to create and have an amazing work culture. (i.e. DEI Initiatives, ERG Programs, Employee Recognition, Company Perks, etc)
- Experience crafting and deploying HR policies and processes
- Knowledgeable about employment law and compliance management preferred
- Exceptional listening, writing, and presentation skills
- SHR certification or equivalent a plus
- High level of discretion
- Ideally you are located around Austin, TX but for the right candidate, we are open to remote.
