About the opportunity
The Senior Manager, Talent Brand will be responsible for building Ontra’s global employer brand and candidate marketing strategy. As our first dedicated employer brand team member on the Talent team, you will have the opportunity to bring in the insight and innovation needed to develop and execute a long-term, cross-functional, and cohesive employer brand strategy to attract top talent.
This is a great opportunity for a brand builder and culture carrier who is passionate about recruiting, marketing, and recruitment marketing. This role is critical to the company’s growth goals which include doubling headcount for the third year in a row. As we enter new regions and continue to launch new products, it’s imperative that we have a leader on the Talent team who is communicating all that is exciting about Ontra to the talented people we’d love to hire.
The Senior Manager, Talent Brand will report directly to the VP of Talent, and the location is flexible.*
What you’ll do
- Own Ontra’s global employer brand marketing strategy, key priorities, measurement framework, and budget
- Build, monitor, and grow our brand presence across key talent-facing channels (e.g. BuiltIn, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, etc.), including managing partnerships with external and internal stakeholders
- Develop candidate personas and design candidate-facing communications across all channels (e.g. prospecting, third-party job boards, social media, email campaigns, etc.)
- Partner with the Marketing team as well as external vendors to create employer brand materials including digital assets, event materials, swag, etc.
- Partner with the People team to formalize and market our EVP so we can share our unique company culture with global talent
- Partner with the Sourcers to keep a pulse on top of funnel activity and look for ways to add value from an employment marketing perspective
- Provide thoughtful leadership on Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion (DEI) strategies to both iterate upon existing programs and launch new programs and messaging embodying those values
- Develop go-to-market employer marketing strategies and regularly present to VP of Talent and greater management team on marketing performance and impact
What you’ll bring
- Expertise: 7+ years of experience in marketing and/or talent acquisition with a minimum of 3+ years’ employer brand experience; digital, brand, and/or content marketing experience a plus
- Strong attention to detail: you can spot a typo a mile away, have an eye for design, and are able to translate complex ideas into digestible relatable concepts
- Project management: you thrive managing multiple projects and workstreams, collaborating with internal and external teams, and keeping things organized
- Creativity: experience in Adobe Suite or similar design tools & comfortable with creating materials for use across social, website, & email communications
- Data-driven mindset: you know how to analyze and use data to track outcomes of employer brand efforts; you love metrics and use them to communicate, make decisions, and allocate budget
