Senior Recruiting Manager, Renewables

RigUp is looking to hire a Senior Recruiting Manager in our Renewables vertical. This person will be responsible for managing a team of recruiters as they search for both skilled and unskilled labor. Our ideal candidate for this role is someone with significant experience managing a team that is tasked with staffing large utility-scale construction projects, ideally within the Solar or Wind space. You’ll be an especially compelling candidate if you’ve had experience in a fast-paced, rapidly scaling business environment and are equally comfortable with developing talent, improving and implementing new processes and innovating on recruiting strategies to achieve business goals.

What you'll be doing:
- Manages a large and growing team of recruiting managers, leads and full-desk recruiters in support of our rapidly expanding solar and wind verticals.
- Ensures the ability to keep pace with rapid growth by establishing a continuous pipeline of renewables recruiters and managers, preferably with deep industry experience in the renewables field.
- Drives strategy and execution to generate high quality local talent pools that meet the demands of our clients.
- Collaborates effectively with strategic program managers over recruiting, onboarding, customer engagement and outsourcing operations programs to align on vertical specific requirements and implement technological enhancements, process improvements specific to those programs.
- Meets or exceeds operational KPIs for recruiting, onboarding, customer engagement and outsourcing operations by optimizing resource planning across these functions and effectively managing the performance of team members.
- Works effectively with relevant stakeholders within renewables sales, operations and marketing teams to maximize execution rate, on time delivery of suppliers and other operational objectives as required.
- Establish and maintain effective and up to date documentation of all core processes supported by the team.
- Leverage said process documentation to create and continuously iterate on a training program for team members that spans new hire training as well as continuous skill development.
- Drives cost efficiency by ensuring the successful off-loading of all high-volume, low complexity tasks to BPO, providing training, documentation and reporting support as required to ensure a seamless transition of work.
- Develops reporting and dashboards to quantify and track team output and performance. Leverages metrics and data to continuously drive operational efficiency, quality of execution and performance management. Leverages cross-functional partners as necessary to create this reporting.
- Understand and drive best practices for tools and platforms used to recruit and communicate with potential candidates (e.g. applicant tracking system, CRM, mass texting tools, etc.)
- Participates effectively in discovery and project planning conversations with stakeholders in product, PMO and strategic program leaders
- Maintains a holistic operational awareness of the needs of other recruiting teams across Energy, Construction and Defense and loans resources as required to ensure the overall success of the recruiting function
What you should have:
- 7+ years experience as a recruiting manager, experience within solar or wind recruiting highly preferred
- 1-3+ years experience as a recruiter, experience within solar or wind highly preferred
- Demonstrated success collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders in order to achieve business objectives
- Experience leveraging quantitative and qualitative inputs to drive individual and team performance
- Experience leveraging data to identify process improvement opportunities
- Demonstrated ability to coach and develop first and second level leaders leaders and individual contributors across a wide spectrum of seniority levels ranging from entry-level to very specialized
- Demonstrated ability to manage through layers and build a bench of leadership talent
- Experience leading through change management initiatives
