Responsible for attracting, identifying, evaluating, and hiring high-quality and diverse talent. Manages the full life cycle of the Recruiting process and serves as primary point of contact for hiring leaders and candidates. Partners with hiring Team Leaders, candidates, interviewers, and other stakeholders to ensure hiring goals are well defined, mutually understood, and achieved. Represents the company in a positive light.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides Recruiting coordination, advice, and support across multiple high-volume placements.
  • Partners with supported teams and Team Leaders to understand talent needs, priorities, and timelines.
  • Ensures appropriate and effective efforts to include diverse candidates in all Recruiting initiatives and programs.
  • Adapts and applies innovative and successful candidate sourcing, screening, assessment, selection, and negotiation strategies.
  • Collaborates with sourcing stakeholders (i.e. third-party agencies, internal referral sources, etc.) to broaden and seek out new talent pools.
  • Leverages understanding of the candidate marketplace to develop effective sourcing strategies.
  • Ensures consideration of internal candidates and identifies opportunities for current Team Member development or transfer.
  • Evaluates Recruiting metrics to identify trends, potential challenges, and indicators of success.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Recruiting concepts, practices, and processes.
  • Serves as Recruiting subject matter expert to the organization.
  • Recommends methods to better integrate initiatives with business direction and expected outcomes.
  • Ensures Recruiting initiatives are consistent with organizational values and goals.
  • Able to interview and facilitate negotiation / discussion in a manner consistent with industry best practices.
  • Creates a reputation of communicating effectively with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and partners.
  • Recognizes and proactively addresses hiring process, candidate selection, or other issues.
  • Mediates difficult interactions, escalating problems as appropriate.
  • Derives evidence-based insights to recommend changes and influence leadership decision-making.
  • Masters research methods and their application in the development and application of benefits, health, and wellness processes.
  • Differentiates best practices that will work within the organization.
  • Executes case and pilot studies to evaluate and address specific problems and questions. 
  • Possesses clear understanding of WFM’s business objectives, competitive strengths, and opportunities.
  • Understands industry trends and emerging challenges from the perspective of people development, rewards, and retention.
  • Demonstrates excellent knowledge of the WFM product mix, supply base, and retail operations.
  • Collaborates with others, in groups, in cross-functional settings, and with diverse stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
  • Models commitment to customer service.

Education & Experience:

  • BA/BS degree and 4-6 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
