Director, Talent Acquisition

About the role:

Atmosphere is in hyper-growth mode and is not about to stop. While our recruiters source Austin’s top talent across every department, the Director of Talent Acquisition will lead the team by creating scalable recruitment strategies for technical, financial, and sales hires. The Director of Talent Acquisition will report to the VP of People & Culture, and will develop and evaluate new sourcing strategies, recruitment tools and partnerships, candidate pipeline experiences, and recruitment team performance metrics. You will work closely with Atmosphere’s department leaders to forecast hiring needs as we double the size of the company in 2022, and create roadmaps to ensure recruitment timelines are met. Working alongside the marketing and creative teams, the Director of Talent Acquisition will establish employer branding strategies to introduce Atmosphere to prospective candidates across the US and beyond.

By designing a streaming service focused on retail businesses, Atmosphere is meeting the needs of two underserved markets: businesses looking for free, audio-optional TV programming, and advertisers that have never been able to effectively buy media to reach an out-of-home audience on TV screens. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as a strategic partner with hiring managers to forecast needs, refine hiring process, and improve candidate experience
  • Create timelines to ensure recruitment efforts match projected headcount needs
  • Train and serve as a resource for recruitment team to improve time to fill without sacrificing candidate quality
  • Grow recruitment team and scale best practices to increase overall Atmosphere headcount by 2x
  • Develop new sourcing strategies for technical, financial, sales, marketing, and HR teams
  • Research and evaluate new tools and partnerships
  • Create employer branding strategies based on each department’s needs

REQUIREMENTS

  • 8+ years recruiting preferably in the Austin / tech space
  • A proven leader
  • Previous experience managing teams / building processes / scaling a company
  • Experience being a consultant for C-Suite / VP’s on hiring strategy
  • We are looking for spreadsheets and stats not gut and will power
  • Is a team player, self starter, positive attitude, strong work ethic BUT knows when to tap out / take a break
  • The phrase ‘that’s not my job’ does not exist in your vocabulary
