Talent Operations Coordinator (Onboarding Specialist)
We are looking for a Talent Operations Coordinator to join the RigUp Talent team. We’re growing fast and not slowing down. We’re looking for someone who is innovative and who is constantly thinking of ways to improve the RigUp employee experience. We need someone who will match our eagerness and enthusiasm for high-impact people operations. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating between all departments in order to ensure proper information flow and also to provide the best employee experience leading our semi-monthly new hire orientation program. You will also be responsible for handling HR and compliance-related employee questions.
Who You Are
- You have 1-2 years of HR experience
- You’re a strong team player
- You have a strong desire to improve and streamline processes
- You’re detail-oriented with excellent analytical, planning, and prioritization skills
- You have a strong work ethic and a high level of discretion
- You have strong organization, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills
- You have a willingness to learn new systems and processes
- You’re able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and to work across teamsYou think critically, work independently, and solve problems
- You’re comfortable working with the RigUp leadership and team and in a highly visible role
- You’re positive and personable!
What You'll Do
- Conduct and manage new hire orientation; constantly looking for ways to improve the on-boarding and employee experience
- Coordinate between all departments to ensure proper information flow and maintain accurate and up to date employee data across multiple databases
- Review and approve standard offers
- Administer and manage background checks
- Complete employment verifications
- Learn and understand employee onboarding and offboarding
- Assist new hires in benefits administration
- Serve as point of contact for general benefits and HR questions
- Assist and develop policies and procedures according to industry best practices
- Support talent team in educating employees on company policies
- Facilitate team integration activities on an ad hoc basis
