The Technical Program Manager (TPM) People/HR Systems leads and supports a People Team focused product portfolio and delivers solutions supporting Point B’s business strategy and objectives. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO: 

Define technical product vision and roadmap which supports Point B business strategy and goals 

Drive program objectives, define project plans, manage implementation activities, and develop processes, documentation and communications for program/process rollout and ongoing support. 

Work with business stakeholders to understand the business requirements and translate these requirements into technical/functional specifications. Discover the true requirements underlying feature requests. 

Work with IT administrators and developers to coordinate the technical development effort, track/drive the project, and manage the operational implementation process.

Drive a cadence to communicate new/updated program, policies, and processes to leaders, stakeholders, and cross functional organizations. 

Manage, prioritize and deliver multiple initiatives in partnership with cross-functional teams. 

Track and triage requests that require a response from the program team. Ensure requests are assigned to appropriate resources and tracked through completion. 

Working with system stakeholders, identify and evaluate business processes for improvement. Revise and create processes that enhance operational workflow and provide positive customer outcomes. 

Act as a key documentation stakeholder for the team.

WHAT WE EXPECT YOU’VE ALREADY DONE:  

Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline (sales or marketing preferred) or a related field, or equivalent work experience 

4+ years of Portfolio, Product or Program Management experience focusing on technical solutions 

4+ years of experience facilitating technical requirements 

4+ years direct experience with enterprise People/HR platforms, preferably Workday 

3+ years of experience with talent acquisition/recruiting compensation, and/or DEI platforms 

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with direct and matrixed teams, including internal, external and remote staff 

Outstanding problem-solving and critical thinking skills 

Strong oral and written communications skills 

Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment 

Functional expertise with People Systems including HR, Talent Acquisition, Compensation 

Experience with technical support of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion systems and requirements 

Used Jira or similar in an Agile environment to manage software configuration and development 

Business process analysis and modeling 

Deep understanding of SDLC, agile development principles and methodologies, and program management 

Excellent analysis and prioritization skills 

Ability to successfully manage multiple, concurrent projects that require ongoing coordination between multiple teams 

Ability to effectively communicate with and present to all levels of staff and leadership across the enterprise 

Ability to build lasting cross-functional partnerships and influence stakeholders across the organization to act

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

The estimated salary range for this role is $96,500 - $159,500 USD per year. This salary range is provided as required by local and state law as applicable. Individual salaries vary on a number of factors including but not limited to geography, skills, education, experience and unique qualifications where applicable.

 

Bonuses are awarded at Point B’s discretion and are based upon individual contributions and overall firm performance.
