Q2 is seeking a Workday HRIS Administrator who will be responsible for the administration and ongoing maintenance of the HRIS (Workday) system, providing functional and technical support; update the system to meet end user needs, monitor end user usage and perform daily administrative tasks. The Workday HRIS Administrator is a super user responsible for ensuring the integrity of the HCM system and will have a focus on the compensation and pay planning modules.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Maintain the Workday HCM, Performance and Advance Compensation; serve as functional and technical expert 

  • Responsible for day-to-day HCM operations, including security access, administration and troubleshooting 

  • Ensure data and system integrity as well as provide training to end users

  • Assist in the review, testing, validation and implementation of new modules and functionality 

  • Write, maintain, and support a variety of reports and queries – both standard and custom 

  • Research and resolve HCM problems, unexpected results and process flaws 

  • Troubleshoot Workday configuration and reporting issues to identify and fix root causes 

  • Develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation 

  • Ensure delivery of high-quality service to end users as well as HCM SOX control compliance 

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience in various Human Resource disciplines 

  • 5+ years previous experience with Workday or another HRIS system 

  • Knowledge of HCM, Performance, Compensation and Pay Planning design, structure, functions and processes 

  • Previous project management experience desirable 

  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, and have strong written and verbal communication skills 

  • Self-starter that possess a strong desire to seek optimal solutions and share discovery with colleagues 

  • Personal confidence and a passion for customer service 

  • Minimal travel
