Description:

The Implementation Specialist is a problem solver member of the Implementation Team and leads activations of listings and e-commerce integrations for Property Managers (PMs). Implementation Specialists are comfortable with being responsible for client projects from discovery through completion, including consolidation of accounts, activation of feeds, and e-commerce onboarding and training.

Responsibilities:

  • As an Implementation Specialist, your main responsibility is to contribute by working with Property Managers and their Property Management Software Company to activate listings content and e-commerce feeds for their listings to appear inviting on HomeAway sites globally.
  • Evaluate accounts, problem solver and communicate recommendations and documentation based on the Property Manager's current account state with goal of optimizing client success.
  • Manage integration go-live periods; aim problems, contribute working closely with internal teams to ensure optimal performance of integration and happiness.
  • Communicate updates throughout project lifespan with clients and internal partners on various teams.
  • Provide recommendations, communicate policies, and guidelines about performance and e-commerce practices and work with PMs to ensure understanding of integration functionality to allow for success.
  • Track and provide data on KPIs (critical metrics) related to projects, including timelines and client happiness. 
  • Manage pilots when new software integrations are launched.
  • Project manage and/or contribute to other Integrated PM (IPM)-related projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience with HTML or XML. 
  • 2+ years of experience in implementation management, client services, project management, or engagement management.
  • 2+years of project management experience; able to successfully handle multiple projects for 20+ clients at varying stages.
  • Client-centric, standout colleague, excellent teammate.
  • Experience with Excel, Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Can-do, detailed problem solver who can identify complexities and keep ownership of processes and issues.
  • Able to give communication for audience and provide appropriate training based on customer technical experience.
  • Adaptable; comfortable with process and product changes.
  • Able to self-direct and make good judgments based on information available.
  • Able to quickly learn new technical concepts and tools.
  • Spanish or Portuguese fluency preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and with issue-tracking software (JIRA, Rally, etc.) preferred.
