Intern – Web Application Developer (Summer - 2017)

Ihiji takes the hee-be-gee-bees out of your home or office! ihiji is an entrepreneurial start-up Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company, is growing its team and seeking a web application development intern. Ihiji’s invision product provides an intuitive remote management tool for network enabled products in homes and small businesses. Our product is a scalable, cloud-based SaaS solution that is commercially available and provides a secure gateway for technology providers to remotely manage networks.
Responsibilities
New feature development in web front end
Upkeep and maintenance on existing web application front end
Enhancements to web backend
Develop monitoring modules working with a variety of manufacturers across multiple industries and protocols
Translate protocols into requirements documentation for development team
Work with contract development team to test and develop manufacturer modules
Research and develop new and creative monitoring methods for non-standard manufacturers
Skills
Linux or Unix Experience
Python Experience
Web Application Development (Angular, CSS, Flask, Django)
General IP Networking Knowledge / Knowledge of IT Monitoring Systems a Plus
Interest in Audio/Video, Networking, and Home Automation Systems a Bonus
