We are looking for an intern who will work closely with our Product and Technology consulting team focusing on a wide variety of projects from technical consulting engagements to more business focused product strategy. The ideal candidate will have a product management or software background with a natural curiosity of what makes an exceptional software company.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in varying engagements across the Product and Technology team, including working closely with;

• Technology Diligence by participating in due diligence onsite and remote sessions focused on identifying operational and technology strategy, organizational structures, and current state business processes and supporting technology

• • Technology Consulting by participating in a wide variety of engagements from platform integration, software architecture analysis and overall technology assessments.
  • Technology Platform and Partnerships by participating in engagements covering Cybersecurity and Cloud/Hosting operations across the portfolio
  • Product Management by participating in product roadmap consulting, and overall product strategy consulting
• Specifying data requirements to solve a given use case
• Analyzing / visualizing data to draw insights and validate hypotheses
• Identifying the best approach / algorithms to solve a given use case
• Contributing to delivering consulting engagements
• Documenting / summarizing engagement results
• Presenting solutions / findings to stakeholders
• Continuous research to stay updated with state-of-the-art technology platforms, concepts and tools including Machine Learning, Cloud, Serverless Architectures, etc.

Skills and Qualifications – essential:

• Currently attending an accredited college or university, majoring in Computer Science or related field, required
• Strong academic track record
• Able to work a minimum of 20-25 hours a week
• Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and presentation

• High emotional intelligence and genuine intellectual curiosity are a must
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and client deliverable experience

• Willingness to travel 50% for working sessions

Skills and Qualifications – good to have:

• Software competencies with some of the following:
  • .NET (ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET), Java with J2EE (EJB, JDBC, Servlets, JSP, JSTL, JMS), Javascript frameworks (React, Bootstrap, Angular), Node.JS
  • Experience applying Agile/lean methodologies
  • Experience architecting solutions using database technologies such as relational, NoSQL, transactional and/or data warehouses.
  • Familiarity or awareness of application security and secure coding principles
• Hands-on experience with one or more major cloud based platform: Azure / GCP / AWS
