Internship Overview:
The Kendra Scott Summer Internship Program offers students an opportunity to gain exposure to the inner workings of our fast-growing, multi-category, fashion lifestyle brand. We value all of our interns and commit to providing a comprehensive learning experience that aligns with individual interests and career goals.
Basics:
• 10-week, paid experience in Austin, TX

Position Overview:
The 3D Design intern will report to our CAD Designers while being an integral aid to various aspects of the Design team. The primary responsibility of the Design intern is to assist with technical design needs and backend processes and organization, supporting the efficiency of the department. Our ideal candidate will have experience using Rhinoceros/Matrix and Adobe computer programs, as well as possess basic jewelry bench and 3D printing skills
Responsibilities:
Technical Support:
• Create technical sheets to thoroughly record dimensions, function, and special details of 3D designs to be used as guide for manufacturing.
• Support product prototype hand-offs by reviewing and exporting files in a time-sensitive manner.
• Assist with set up of 3D printer and cleaning resin prints.
Departmental Organization:
• Collect, categorize, and catalogue existing digital files of findings and settings based on branded custom stone shapes and sizes.
• Aid in formatting template of department training manual.
• Support departmental organization and archiving as needed.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• The ability to work 40 hours per week (Monday through Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm)
• Availability to work May 26th- July 31st, 2020. Consideration will be given for special life events with the exception of Internship Orientation (Tuesday, May 26th)
o Fourth of July will be observed as a company holiday
