Advocate marketing is proven to generate higher-quality sales leads, accelerate sales opportunities and improve brand recognition. Why? The Voice of the Customer will always be more powerful and more compelling than anything we create internally.
In this position, you will serve a pivotal role in the launch LogicMonitor's first-ever Customer Advocacy Program (a career-making opportunity). Comparing research in best practices against internal team KPIs, you will help to create program success metrics, articulate the plan that will achieve those metrics, and carry it out. Thanks to your input, we will understand what to expect from our Advocacy Program, how to motivate our Ambassadors, and how to identify and report on success metrics.
Here's what you can expect to learn:
This program sits at the intersection of all cross-functional teams: Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Product. Beyond a crash course introduction to key business tools like Marketo, Salesforce, and Influitive, you will become familiar with how to harness customer advocates, and motivate participation in customer referrals, reference calls, success stories & testimonials, online product reviews, survey responses and social sharing.
You will see how a program is built from the ground up, executed, and maintained. Learn how to work within a budget, report on key metrics that the C-Suite actually cares about.
Incredibly creative marketing and communication skills to engage audiences and build advocates
Analytical skills to determine marketing effectiveness and ROI of customer engagement efforts
Strategic thinker that can see beyond the day-to-day grind to help reach marketing and sales goals, create a stronger brand, and improve the customer experience
- Be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university
- Be at least 18 years of age when the internship starts
- Work onsite at LogicMonitor's facility full-time (40 hours per week, 8 hours per day) during normal business hours
