Business Development & Strategy Internship (Remote)

As a Business Development and Strategy intern, you will be responsible for developing a market strategy for one of EZ Texting’s new use cases. You’ll also support other strategic projects such as competitive landscaping and new partnership launches. To excel in this role, candidates must be self starters, have a ‘can do’ attitude and be comfortable working in a fast paced, cross-functional team environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid track record of success with preferred experience in management consulting and/or strategy, business development or business operations functions within SaaS/Technology organizations.
Responsibilities:
Develop market entry strategy for a new use case and industry vertical
Evaluate competitive landscape
Assist with partnership launches, partner marketing and related product integrations
Report directly to the VP of Partnerships and CFO
Skills you will Gain:

Primary and secondary research skills
Presentation skills and executive business presence
Cross-functional experience working with multiple departments in a high-growth technology business, including the Customer, Marketing, Product, Finance and Senior Leadership teams
Qualifications:
Highly organized self-starter that runs toward opportunities
Comfortable operating in a dynamic, highly collaborative, remote work environment
Ability to conduct primary and secondary research with limited oversight
Strong business acumen and analytical skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate, collaborate and influence
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
Entering 2nd year of a top-tier MBA program
3-5 years of relevant work experience; management consulting and/or technology/SaaS experience highly preferred
