Carrier Sales Internship [Summer 2022] at Arrive Logistics
- Learn the business in our one-week training program, designed to get you ramped up quickly & effectively.
- Learn the ins-and-outs of Arrive’s carriers from their accompanying sales reps. While partnering with them as your mentor throughout the program.
- Become an expert on our internal proprietary system as well as utilize external Transportation Management Tracking systems.
- Schedule appointments and input shipment details for all related loads.
- Update internal & external portals with shipment details as needed.
- Communicate internally with our customer sales team & keep them updated on the status of their customers’ shipments. You are their point of contact for all tracking updates!
- Take inbound and make outbound calls from carriers who are interested in hauling freight for Arrive.
- Track the progress of each shipment and communicate updates to all related parties.
- Secure capacity by selling shipments over the phone to carriers who meet our strict requirements.
- Collaborate with sales representatives and operations teams to ensure accounts are being appropriately serviced.
- Gain exposure to industry experts and leaders throughout Arrive
- The ideal candidate is working towards a degree in a relevant field of study
- Interns must be available from through the summer to work in Austin, TX
- The hours will be 8AM-4PM, 40 hours per week
- Compensation is $15.50/Hour
- We are functioning under the expectation that this program will be held onsite
