Equity and Inclusion Intern (Learning Experience)
ABOUT THIS POSITION
We’re looking for a (paid) Equity and Inclusion Intern to help Aceable Learning Experience improve our Driving and Real Estate course content to be more inclusive and accessible. Your primary job will be to write alt text captions for existing course images as well as collaborate with LX on other DE&I content projects. We are looking for a commitment of forty hours per week from June 1st to August 6th; we are accepting remote candidates.

OUR LEARNING EXPERIENCE TEAM
Our Learning Experience team is a lively crew of instructional designers, writers, graphic designers, and video producers with a shared mission: we make required licensing education approachable and engaging, and we care obsessively about our results. In close collaboration with the product team, we strive to create effective, user-centric online courses. We learn fast, pivot quickly, and create products to drive the best outcomes for the largest number of students. We live by our Aceable core values, and are a positive, humble, and supportive team.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Review existing course images in order to write text alt text captions
- Ideate potential new ways to teach concepts in our driving course
- Learn about Aceable’s learning experience principles and alt text field standards
- Learn and get fluent in Aceable’s proprietary learning management system as well as our task management and DAM systems
- Participate in collaborative meetings with Aceable Learning Experience content creators
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- The ability to write (as demonstrated through successfully passing our application exercise).
- Demonstrated time management skills and the ability to deliver projects on time
- Ability to solve problems. You excel at identifying problems and their solutions, both for yourself and your team.
- Learn new tools and processes. You should be open (and able) to learn how to use new systems and tools.
