Rooster Teeth Games is looking for an aspiring Game Developer that can assist with various tasks in our department for our 10 week Summer Internship Program!

You will be working with the Production, Development, and Publishing teams to perform research and analysis on subjects such as audience demographics, game mechanics, user experience (UX), and business models. In addition, you will be an integral part of Quality Assurance (QA) testing efforts and coordinating playtests for multiple upcoming titles (digital and physical) currently in development.

*CANDIDATES MUST BE CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN COLLEGE RECEIVING CREDIT AND ABLE TO BE ONSITE TO QUALIFY - APPLICANTS THAT DO NOT MEET THESE REQUIREMENTS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.*

Responsibilties:

• Assist in QA efforts (smoke testing, recruiting playtesters, writing test cases, and taking part in playtests)
• Assist in User Research, Competitive Analysis, and other R&D (references for Game Design, Visual Development, UX, Monetization, etc.)
• Participate in feedback sessions that follow playtests by contributing opinions and taking detailed notes
• Assist with creating and organizing project documentation
• Researching and executing special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• Entering or in the process of completing Junior or Senior level college courses in a related field
• Must be extremely detail oriented, task-driven, and able to complete work on time and with urgency in a more casual environment
• Have a sense of humor and be okay with the type of content that Rooster Teeth creates
• Strong knowledge of current trends within the Gaming Industry
• Passion for Video Games, Board Games and Interactive Media
• Knowledge of game development tools, engines, and QA process is a plus
