Internship Overview:
The Kendra Scott Summer Internship Program offers students an opportunity to gain exposure to the inner workings of our fast-growing, multi-category, fashion lifestyle brand. We value all of our interns and commit to providing a comprehensive learning experience that aligns with individual interests and career goals.
Basics:
• 10-week, paid experience in Austin, TX
• Relocation assistance is not provided

Position Overview:
We have an exciting opportunity to support the rapid growth of our IT Support Team at our Home Kendra Scott Office in Austin, TX! Reporting to a IT Helpdesk Specialist, our IT Helpdesk Intern will positively represent the brand while delivering an amazing support experience to our internal customers throughout the Kendra Scott company. This role combines the need for proven experience helping others with technology, exceptional communication skills and a drive to learn new things.
Responsibilities:
• Work hand in hand with our IT Support team learning how to support our internal employees with computers, applications and retail system
• Develop and create thoughtful on-brand IT support resources to help support all of our Kendra Scott stores
• Research innovative solutions for our Retail, DC and Corporate fleet of computers
• Research and present solutions that would optimize our current communication processes as an IT team
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• The ability to work 40 hours per week (Monday through Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm)
• Availability to work May 26th- July 31st, 2020. Consideration will be given for special life events with the exception of Internship Orientation (Tuesday, May 26th)
o Memorial Day & Fourth of July will be observed as company holidays
• A passion for searching and finding answers
• A natural optimism and willingness to try new things
• Patience in the face of uncertainty
• A desire to learn more in the accounting space; computer science, information technology management, or other relevant technology majors preferred
• The ability to demonstrate strong leadership among peers and across the organization.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
