Program Management (PMO) Reporting Intern
Are you excited about the idea of taking current and future reporting outputs and automating them? Do you want to learn more about collaborating and working with a team of software developers? If so, keep reading!
What You'll Do:
- Work with PMO in understanding reporting requirements and backlog.
- Work with Engineering to come up with a framework that will automate and allow on-demand JIRA reports. The framework should be maintainable, scalable, and easy to use. Currently, these reports are created by output queries from JIRA and manipulating the data to create Excel charts.
- Teach PMO and others to self-serve and build reports in the future.
- Preferably, some exposure to agile through course material or hands on class experience.
- Strong communicator – must be able to clearly communicate roadblocks and status on the project.
- Self-starter who can find a way forward even when the path is unclear. Has can-do attitude with a demonstrated ability to get things done under some supervision.
- Working knowledge of source control (preferably git) and SDLC
- Working knowledge of software development practices and design patterns
- Experience in writing software to solve business problems
- Experience in Node.js a plus
