Internship Overview:
The Kendra Scott Summer Internship Program offers students an opportunity to gain exposure to the inner workings of our fast-growing, multi-category, fashion lifestyle brand. We value all of our interns and commit to providing a comprehensive learning experience that aligns with individual interests and career goals.
Basics:
• 10-week, paid experience in Austin, TX
• Relocation assistance is not provided

Position Overview:
We have an exciting opportunity to support the operations of our retail stores within our Retail Operations team at our Home Office in Austin, TX! Reporting to our Director of Retail Projects and Profitability, the Retail Operations Intern will support store needs by collaborating with cross-functional departments at the Home Office on current and upcoming processes and procedures. This role combines the need for seasoned store operations experience and exceptional management and collaboration skills to successfully streamline and document direction.
Responsibilities:
• Review and analyze current operational process and procedure documentation to identify efficiency opportunities.
• Research and develop operational tools for stores during high volume time periods to expedite check out process, and enhance in-store customer experience.
• Monitor and gather feedback for communication across stores and the Home Office.
• Assist in daily operational tasks including reporting, feedback recaps, and analysis.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• The ability to work 40 hours per week (Monday through Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm)
• Availability to work May 26th- July 31st, 2020. Consideration will be given for special life events with the exception of Internship Orientation. (Tuesday, May 26th)
o Fourth of July will be observed as a company holiday.
• Seasoned skills with Microsoft Office.
• A strong understanding of Inventory Management.
• The ability to demonstrate strong leadership among peers and across the organization.
• A high level of accountability, reliability and initiative.
• A proven ability to execute with consistent delivery.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
