SALES OPERATIONS INTERN

JOB TITLE: SALES OPERATIONS INTERN

About You:

  • You are smart with a passion for business and have an interest in learning about the SaaS industry and the fast pace of working at a start-up
  • Open to mentorship with operations, as well as sales, marketing, and analytical tools
  • You take initiative to figure out and solve problems
  • You see yourself as a problem solver and a leader in the workplace and in your personal life
  • You are a person who is passionate about bettering themselves professionally and personally while contributing to the greater good of your company
  • You are willing to voice your opinion or provide suggestions, but also comfortable with spending a day dissecting spreadsheets or researching

Responsibilities:

  • Performs administrative tasks within the CRM system to support the data analysis used for sales force effectiveness
  • Maintain and modify sales dashboards and documentation
  • Troubleshoot technical phone, computer, and application issues
  • Assists in mapping exercises of business accounts to ensure data integrity and accuracy
  • Communicates and collaborates with team members to understand requirements and improvements
  • Provides persistent and timely follow-up with sales representatives and manager
  • Completes special projects as deemed necessary by management
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • A Junior or Senior completing a college degree applicable to business administration with 3.0 or better GPA, or related work/life experience. MBA candidates also welcome to apply
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Able to contribute a minimum of 20-30 hours per week
  • Highly proficient in analysis tools such as Excel/Google Sheets. Working knowledge of business management systems such as CRM and Accounting Software
  • Excellent ability to multitask and prioritize workload
  • Highly flexible and organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly

Bonus points:

  • ​Understanding of relational database structure and concepts
  • Experience in business operations, especially Sales and Marketing
  • Previous Salesforce.com experience
  • Experience with cloud based accounting tools including, but not limited to Xero, ​QuickBooks ​Online, ​Gusto, ​Bill.com, ​and ​Abacus
  • Knowledge of sales processes
  • Project management experience
  • Strong interest in joining a startup or small business after graduation
  • Participate in sports, clubs, etc.
