Role Description

Dropbox, Inc. is seeking a Senior International Tax Manager to join our tax team.

 

Your role will include a variety of international tax projects.  You will manage transfer pricing and be involved with managing the co-sourcing of the worldwide U.S. and Statutory income tax provisions and compliance. 

Responsibilities

  • Advise business partners on international tax planning initiatives 
  • Manage the international aspects of the co-sourced income tax provision in accordance with ASC 740
  • Collaborate with service providers on the international tax aspects of the U.S. income tax compliance
  • Manage and participate in the co-sourcing of statutory income tax provisions, compliance and tax audits for foreign subsidiaries
  • Develop and implement scalable and defensible transfer pricing policies that adhere to regulations and support evolving business initiatives (including mergers and acquisitions)
  • Lead global transfer pricing processes including preparation of calculations between principals; review transfer pricing calculations prepared by Accounting and transfer pricing documentation 

Requirements

  • 12+ years of multinational technology industry and/or public accounting experience  
  • B.S. degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (A Masters Degree in taxation or CPA is preferred)
  • Self starter that is adaptable and can independently run multiple projects 
  • A deep understanding of GAAP and Statutory accounting for income taxes
  • Working knowledge of US and OECD transfer pricing regulations 
  • Excellent communication and analytical abilities
  • Ability to build collaborative partnerships with internal and external business partners
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP system is a plus
