Rex is a billion-dollar technology, investment, and real estate company led by Peter Rex. We are on a mission to create new tech leadership out of Austin to serve people. We recently launched a program called “The Special Projects Internship” to hire and train the future entrepreneurs of the world. This will be a rewarding training experience to give you insight and prepare you for a life as a tech company executive. 

What you’ll do:  

• Get deployed on important 1-4 week missions across the Rex ecosystem that requires highly intelligent polymaths.
• Be involved in projects ranging from product, design, engineering, sales, recruiting, culture building, etc. Your projects will typically align with your superpowers.
• Work closely with executives as an apprentice and provide them leverage while learning immensely from their experience.
• Read business books with fellow Interns and engage in book discussions.
• Attend bi-weekly dinners with Executives in the Rex Ecosystem and learn from their stories and experiences.

Who you are:  

• A current college student who is passionate about becoming one of the best entrepreneurs in the world and willing to go through an intense internship experience to fast track their journey.
• You have the schedule flexibility to work 10 hours a week (at $20-$30/ hour) and have the ability to get to our office in the Northwest Hills area (off Far West Blvd)
• You have strong skills in either engineering, design, or business but generally good at most things you attempt. 
• Growing up, you were always flexible and quick to think on your feet.
• When you got stuck on a problem or hit a dead-end, your first instinct was to think outside the box. You sought out creative solutions. Rather than wonder, "Why?" you asked yourself, "How?"
• Your ability to quickly adapt and move forward in the face of challenges always impresses your peers, professors, and employers.
• You thrive on the opportunity to work directly with customers, engaging them through your creative approaches.
