Summer Intern - Biller Direct - Data Analyst / Integrations Analyst
We are seeking a Biller Direct Intern - Data Analyst / Integrations Analyst to join the Q2 Biller Direct Team. In this internship you will gain experience working with data using Power BI and other metrics gathering tools, as well as learning to automate biller websites using modern frameworks such as Puppeteer and WebdriverIO.
The Q2 Summer Internship Program is 12-weeks long and all positions are paid hourly with an average work week of 40 hours. In addition to your daily work, you will be given the opportunity for weekly classroom trainings with Sr. Leadership, off-site activities with other Q2 interns and the opportunity to present to the Executive Leadership team at the end of the program.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The intern will be paired with different team members over the course of the internship. Additionally, they will be given specific projects to work on with access to SMEs
- Work with data to derive business critical insights
- Contribute to web site automation
- Create tools to improve effectiveness and efficiency of Integration Specialists
- Measure and investigate product performance and recommend and/or implement solutions as needed
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Working on a computer science or similar degree
- Experience programming with JavaScript and/or Python
- Experience with HTML and CSS parsing
- Interest in working with data to extract meaningful information
- AWS experience is a nice to have
- Ability to research independently
- Curious mind willing to jump in to help wherever needed
- Exceptional work ethic, highly efficient and accurate
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to operate independently and proactively with minimal up-front instruction and take ownership of work product; driven, diligent, and self-motivated
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills with a customer service focus
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
