Summer Intern - Creative Services
Q2 is seeking an energetic, innovative, out-of-the-box thinker with a passion for software and technology to join our 2021 Summer Intern Program.
The Summer Internship Program is 12-weeks long (May 25th - August 13th) and all positions are paid hourly with an average work week of 40 hours. In addition to your daily work, you will be given the opportunity for weekly classroom trainings with Sr. Leadership, activities with other Q2 interns and the opportunity to present to the Executive Leadership team at the end of the program.
We are seeking a Web Development Intern to work closely with the Web Services team on projects for financial institutions and will include web development tasks (HTML, CSS, Javascript) as part of multiple in-process projects. It will also include light exposure to other business units of our software company and our customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working with Creative Services developers and designers on financial institution website projects
Assisting with migration for major CMS version update
Participating in projects/initiatives to improve existing processes
Responsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies and controls are adhered to
Other miscellaneous projects as assigned
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
Pursuing a Degree in a wide range of possible options such as Computer Science, Software Development, or other related fields.
Have exceptional work ethic, highly efficient and accurate
Have excellent attention to detail
Have the ability to operate independently and proactively with minimal up-front instruction and take ownership of work product; driven, diligent, and self-motivated
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Excellent communication skills with a customer service focus
Be trustworthy and discreet with confidential financial and employee data
Have knowledge of HTML5 or HTML and CSS3/SCSS; exposure to Javascript/jQuery, SQL, and Git a plus
Have the ability to work on multiple projects with multiple clients
