Summer Intern - Data Engineering
As a data engineering intern, you will have the advantage of being exposed to software development, cloud infrastructure deployment, and interacting with data and data scientists. This will be a valuable experience which can help you identifying what areas you are passionate about and may want to steer your technical career towards to.
The Summer Internship Program is 12-weeks long (May 25th - August 13th) and all positions are paid hourly with an average work week of 40 hours. In addition to your daily work, you will be given the opportunity for weekly classroom trainings with Sr. Leadership, activities with other Q2 interns and the opportunity to present to the Executive Leadership team at the end of the program.
PrecisionLender’s pricing and profitability platform helps commercial bank relationship managers make smart, real-time pricing decisions and deliver superior customer service. Andi®, our virtual pricing analyst, uses artificial intelligence to glean and deliver insights from the thousands of deals priced daily in the platform. Using PrecisionLender, banks grow faster with stronger and more profitable relationships. Our product is used globally by 200+ banks and 10,000+ relationship managers to price more than $1 trillion in commercial loans.
The Data Engineering Team:
The Data Engineering team builds and maintains the infrastructure for developing and deploying data analytic products. Our team collaborates closely with data scientists and other product engineering teams. Among other things, we own and maintain a job scheduling infrastructure, batch and spark compute environments, a metadata service, a real-time prediction service, and an ever-growing collection of ETL pipelines and jobs. Currently, our infrastructure runs more than 25,000 ETL jobs daily.

Requirements:
· Enrollment in a technical degree program like Computer Engineering
· Programming experience, preferably in Python
· Strong communication and reasoning skills
· Experience in any of the listed technologies will be plus
