Summer Intern - Engineering, Internal Tooling
Q2 is looking for talented individuals with exceptional technical curiosity and is enthusiastic about solving problems.
The Summer Internship Program is 12-weeks long (May 25th - August 13th) and all positions are paid hourly with an average work week of 40 hours. In addition to your daily work, you will be given the opportunity for weekly classroom trainings with Sr. Leadership, activities with other Q2 interns and the opportunity to present to the Executive Leadership team at the end of the program.
As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for building robust, high-quality, and scalable solutions to expand and improve our core platform. You’ll be part of a team that is driving innovation in development methods and tools used to deliver features to our customers in a robust and agile method.
Responsibilities:
Design, implementation, and maintenance of products using C#, ASP.NET MVC, SQL Server and other modern technologies
- Using the SCRUM framework, work as a team to maintain the features including all automated testing and automated deployment needs
- Be willing to be mentored by more senior developers to improve their career development and coding abilities
- Work closely with other engineers, product and management teams to rapidly build, iterate, test, and deploy bug fixes and minor features to improve the quality and robustness of the code base and testing automation
- Build internal tooling project from scratch, based on loose requirements
Requirements:
- Good written and verbal communication
- Experience using C#, ASP.NET MVC, and SQL Server
- At least 2 years of computer science/engineering education
