What you'll be doing: Are you an innovative and collaborative designer who has a passion for creating delightful user experiences? As a User Experience (UX) Designer Intern at Blackbaud, you will be responsible for creating solutions that delight users and allow them to spend more time focusing on their nonprofit mission. Our designers participate on a core team consisting of a product manager, UX designer, and lead engineer. This core team works closely together during our discovery process where various ideas are prototyped and evaluated. Once a prototype is finalized, designers support agile development teams in implementing the prototype.
The Job: As a UX Designer Intern, you must be experienced with all types of user centered design techniques. This is an opportunity to be innovative, creative, and help drive a delightful user experience. You will communicate your ideas using prototypes that help others understand your intended design, synthesize findings from customer data to suggest improvements to the product, and/or suggest ways to capitalize on design patterns that delight our customers. You will understand the balance of user experience, business case and value, and technical feasibility, to make tradeoffs where appropriate.
