About the Role

Dropoff is looking for a Junior UX designer to work with both the product/engineering team as well as the marketing team. The ideal candidate will have strong delivery skills and enjoy a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities/Deliverables

• Ability to take product requirements, dive deep into the technical details and create thoughtful designs.

• Work closely with product managers, marketing managers, and other stakeholders to understand product vision and customer needs.

• Responsible for the execution and delivery of creative design deliverables for web, mobile web, tablet interfaces and native mobile apps (iOS & Android).

• Transform product/marketing ideas into a well-structured, efficient, user experience.

• Tailor existing product experiences to fit the requirements and expectations of modern users.

• Experience with an iterative design process, and a recognition that the first design is rarely the final design.

• Willingness to change designs to facilitate faster development.

• Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently.

• Strong collaborator.

• High attention to detail.

Deliverables

• Wireframing (Sketch or comparable)
• Visual designs including creation of individual visual assets (Vector illustrations)
• Prototypes (InVision)
• Graphic design for print (as needed)

Experience

• Digital portfolio that showcases examples of previous work
• 1-2+ years of related experience 
• Experience designing for web, mobile web, tablet interfaces and native mobile apps
• Experience working in an agile environment
• Ability to deliver artifacts (wireframes, prototypes, etc) under tight time constraints
• Strong attention to detail
• Interaction design a plus
